Camila Cabello arrives at the iHeartRadio Much Music Video Awards on Sunday, June 18, 2017, in Toronto, Canada.

"Climate change is threatening Miami, it needs our help," tweeted the singer.

On Tuesday Camila Cabello encouraged her fans act against climate change and tune in to Al Gore's Inconvenient Special and received praise from the former vice president himself.

After the former Fifth Harmony member tweeted about environmental issues threatening her hometown of Miami and to watch Gore's MTV special, Gore replied thanking her and saying "Together we can work together to save our home."

Cabello is not the first celebrity to plug An Inconvenient Special. Jared Leto and Steve Aoki among others have already expressed their concern for our planet. Gore's dedication to the cause is gaining momentum and helping foster the dialogue about climate change. Bringing in support from various celebrities will hopefully bring more attention to the rising temperatures that should concern all of us.

As for Cabello, she has partnered with "Save The Children" to raise awareness about girls' equal access to education and healthcare in the past and the Children's Health Fund non-profit dedicated to low-income children has also on the singer's radar.
