Kiiara, who recently collaborated with Linkin Park on "Heavy," just shared her grief over Chester Bennington's passing on Twitter.

"The other night, I felt so off like a 6th sense," writes the singer, "and the more I think about this, I guess that was your way of saying goodbye, your way of telling me to hold on." She fondly remembers the rock frontman for his "way to make everyone laugh." Recalling a carefree side of Chester, she draws on a memory from rehearsals where he "sang heavy in pretty much every accent I can think of."

Linkin Park and Kiiara dueted on "Heavy," the electro-pop song released as the lead single to Linkin Park's last album One More Light, in February of 2017. The song peaked at No. 50 on the Billboard Hot 100 and at No. 2 on the Rock Songs chart. As the band deviated from their classic guitar-based sound to more EDM-driven tracks, they alienated some old-school fans. Regardless, "Heavy" was popular on the radio this spring, and Linkin Park remained a prominent rock band well into 2017.
