Watch Angelica Hale, 9-Year-Old Kidney Transplant Survivor, Earn Golden Buzzer on 'America's Got Talent':

Angelica Hale was the "girl on fire" when she performed Tuesday night on America’s Got Talent.

The nine-year-old, who hails from Atlanta, Georgia, blew away the judges with her powerful performance of “Girl on Fire,” Alicia Keys’ hit from 2012.

Having delivered a flawless rendition of Andra Day’s “Rise Up earlier in the season, Hale admitted she was nervous but excited. Though it didn’t show as her rousing performance had the crowd on its feet.

Guest judge Chris Hardwick brought the feels as he slammed down on the Golden Buzzer and declared “You are the chosen one.”

Cue the tears. Hales’ folks wept and the young singer, who now cruises into the live rounds, admitted on Twitter, “I'm still crying too!!! I can't believe this is happening!”

Hale battled serious illness before impressing on the AGT stage. At just four years of age, she contracted Sepsis, a life-threatening bacterial infection in her lungs. Hale needed a kidney transplant. Thankfully, Angelica’s mother Eva Hale was a match and she donated a kidney to save her daughter.
